Mobile apps
The PTV mobile apps allow you to view service times, use the journey planner and set your favourite stops throughout Victoria for faster access to public transport information on the go.
Free to download, information on each of the apps is available below:
iPhone app
Features:
- Real time metropolitan train information shown in countdown mode
- Real time tram information (tramTRACKER®) shown in countdown mode
- Real time metropolitan bus information shown in countdown mode
- Real time cancellation information for metropolitan trains
- Real time platform information for metropolitan trains
- Journey reminders

- Integration with Siri means you can use voice commands to plan your journey with Apple Maps

Please note: The PTV iPhone app was designed to function on iOS 7 or higher, but will work on iOS 6.
PTV ScreenReader app for iPhone
PTV has an app suitable for vision impaired customers who use an iPhone and rely on ScreenReader software.
The latest version of the app is now available (26 April 2016)
NOTE: Users of the current PTV ScreenReader app will need to upgrade to the new version, as the system which is currently supporting it will be decommissioned. This means the app's journey planner will stop working unless users have upgraded to the new version.

Please note: The PTV Android app was designed to function on Ice-Cream Sandwich (Version 4) or higher.
Other versions of the PTV app
The following apps are no longer available for download:
- PTV Original iPhone app
- Metlink Classic iPhone app
- Metlink beta app
- Nokia app
These apps were removed because they were outdated and we no longer support them.
To access public transport information on the go, we encourage you to download the new iPhone app and Android app. Features of each app and links to download are above.
