Extreme heat impacting V/Line train services from Saturday 9 March to Tuesday 12 March 2024

Hot weather is forecast for parts of Victoria from Saturday 9 March to Tuesday 12 March 2024. Extreme heat timetables will be operating across parts of the V/Line network.

V/Line will be implementing extreme heat timetables for the following lines:

Saturday 9 March

  • Ararat
  • Ballarat
  • Bendigo
  • Echuca
  • Geelong
  • Maryborough
  • Swan Hill
  • Warrnambool

Sunday 10 March

  • Ararat
  • Ballarat
  • Bendigo
  • Echuca
  • Geelong
  • Maryborough
  • Swan Hill
  • Warrnambool

Monday 11 March

  • Ararat
  • Bairnsdale
  • Ballarat
  • Bendigo
  • Echuca
  • Geelong (39°C)
  • Maryborough
  • Swan Hill
  • Traralgon
  • Warrnambool (39°C)

Tuesday 12 March

There will a partial extreme heat timetable implemented for the following lines:

  • Bendigo
  • Echuca
  • Swan Hill
