Melbourne operates the world's largest tram network. Public Transport Victoria are delivering a large program of works to upgrade the network to a world-class system, improving its accessibility, capacity, reliability and safety.

E-Class tram

New station building at Middle Park tram stop

The former railway station building in Middle Park is an important part of local history. We are constructing a new station building at tram Stop 130 after a recent fire. 

Route 96 - World Trade Centre tram stop

Route 96 Upgrade

PTV in partnership with Yarra Trams and VicRoads is currently developing plans for infrastructure upgrades along Route 96 to improve access, safety, reliability and efficiency for tram customers using the route.
